What we do not provide

• Proof that a plant is buying or seeking vendors
• State-inspected-only plants outside the federal MPI directory
• Credit, employment, or financial reports
• Real-time updates — FSIS publishes weekly

Known caveats

• Removals may reflect administrative updates, not closures
• Activities are canonicalized from official strings
• Vendor-fit tags are heuristics derived from directory fields
• Verify against the current official FSIS record before outreach
